The Circle (Square?) Is Complete! (01.31.10)

It's been a slow start for The Lillian Pearl as we secured positions in the band, but we're stoked to announce the circle is complete! Bunker (who was the original bass player) has now taken position behind the drum set, and Doug Rickaway has joined the group to play bass. Now we're hammering-out the set list, prepping for the first show in the next couple of months.

Change Is Good! (12.18.09)

The Lillian Pearl has a new drummer: our bass player! Yes, good ol' Bunker is quite the talented bloke, and he decided he'd rather us have a full-time drummer NOW — so he's made the switch. There are a couple/few bass players in the pipeline, and we're hoping to nail something down in the next month or so on that front.

Holding onto the adage that good things come to those who wait, we're hoping to have a show lined-up in the next couple/few months — a show that will sport the full band. We'll also be doing a few small acoustic sets at spots that can't support a full band without deafening all the patrons. =)

The Lillian Pearl Is Back! (11.06.09)

After being put on hold for over two months due to Maury's unexpected surgery, The Lillian Pearl is BACK ON TRACK!

We're kicking-off our rehearsal schedule this week, and we have plans to have our first official show SOON SOON SOON! We're also focusing focusing on a wickedly cool acoustic set, and we've recruited a good friend to play percussion — so stay tuned for more on that.

We apologize for how sporadic things have been, and we appreciate the patience! STAY TUNED!

The Lillian Pearl is on a venue hunt!

If you've been to a cool venue, know of a cool venue, or have contacts with anyone that runs/works at a cool venue — let us know! We know all the spots here in our home town, but there are plenty of places in Pearland, Clear Lake, Houston, Austin, Waco, Dallas/Fort Worth, etc. we'd like to find.
